Daring to Dream

I dreamed a dream today
one of lightness and bright gentle places
where I could share the earth
with all its multiplicity of creatures
in peace and with a smile

I dreamed a dream today
and in the dreaming
saw a whole new universe
of possibilities in the swirling colours
of my soul

I dreamed a dream today
that I was made whole
fully connected to the right node
spastic nerves quieted as the energy
finally found where it was supposed to go

I dreamed a dream today
that soon I wouldn't be dreaming
anymore
