Dear Tech Support:

I am sure you are all very nice people
I like to think I'm nice too
but I give you fair warning
I am a redhead - a real one
and this will be the third time
that I've contacted you!

downloaded and tried to install
Beta 3 - oh about six times so far
keeps giving me an error
"Unable to load the DLL -
installation terminated"
and then I found my Beta 2
was screwed

I knew I was in trouble
when your first response was:
"Beta 3 not yet released"
it was already on my machine

The second time I was advised
to redownload and reinstall
which I'd already tried - SEVERAL TIMES

I've deleted, uninstalled, renamed,
rebooted, cleanbooted
scandisked and defragged
pretended to be a newbie
communicated telepathically
everything both on- and off-line
I've tried every trick in the book
invented some new ones too
and my only reward has been
that damned error message...

I turned the PC over, made all the blood rush to its head
slapped the hard disk controller real hard
murmured sweet nothings to the BIOS
reinstalled and cleaned my Windows
prayed to the Net Gods for some kind of sign

I'm not the only one
UserX has the same problem too
but please don't fix his Beta 3 - what a jerk -
he makes one more pass at me
I will go absolutely berserk

one helpful netizen
has suggested
I sacrifice a chicken
but I can't believe
the Net Gods would insist
I do such a nasty thing

unless you've already recompiled
which would make me smile
please don't tell me to redownload
and reinstall
I will put you all under hex
I need another fix

at the very least, send me a clean copy
of Beta 2 so I can go back to the way I used to be
